Just had to post and share a huge disappointment. This morning Ro and I took a neighbor out to the Rancocas Conservancy's Coleman's Bridge trail to see/photograph plants known to be there. Lespediza (cuneata?, asian invasive) and an invasive, alien grass, have completely swamped the trail and much of the surrounding area.
Bummer!
Add to that the mosquitoes were aggressive, hungry, and in hordes.
Not a good day in the woods......
Wonder how, or maybe if, the area can be restored to "natural" conditions?
