ROADWORK ON CHATSWORTH-BARNEGAT AND GREENBANK-CHATSWORTH ROADS
The Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders are announcing a road resurfacing project to begin on Monday in Woodland Township.
Resurfacing of a 4.0-mile portion of Chatsworth-Barnegat Road (County Route 532) and a 0.4- mile portion of Chatsworth-Greenbank Road (County Route 563) in Woodland Township is expected to begin this Monday, March 18, 2013.

The project involves milling and overlay of Chatsworth-Barnegat Road from County Route 563 to Route 72 and Chatsworth-Greenbank Road from Lake Avenue to Fourth Street. The work on both roads is expected to take about three weeks to complete.
Traffic will be maintained with one lane alternating during milling and paving operation. Motorists using the roadway may experience delay and are recommended to find alternative routes during the work.
The work is being done by Arawak Paving Co., Inc., Hammonton, New Jersey, as part of the County’s 2012 State Funded Overlay Program. The County will resurface a total of 21.4 miles of roadway in 14 municipalities through the $7.9 million dollar state-funded program.
