Controlled Burning

I was reading over at Piney power that
Controlled Burning has begun throughout the region. Please post if you are aware of any locations. It is my understanding that some is going on at Allaire S.P. today.

Anyone else see or hear about this?

I just saw some woods were burning on Rt.70 by J.J. Whites bogs.

I read that the Forest Service started controlled burns at FREC in Jackson.

Friendship and Hampton Park were burned and some spots still smoldering as of noon today.
