Manumuskin and myself went stone searching today and found this nice size stone in Medford.

On the way there while navigating Jackson/Medford Road Al heard a pop but could not figure out what it was. I was following behind him and when we stopped just a short distance away I noticed his tire was going flat. I tell you in less than two minutes his rim was on the ground and he has new huge tires on his vehicle. We changed the tire and headed back to find shattered deer bones from a deer carcass he had driven over and one of the pieces looked like a large needle. The tire has what appears to be a large gouge in it caused by that bone. This was a first for me for sure.

The standard warranty does not cover "Road Hazard" But I remember Momma insisting we pick it up as an extra. The papers are in the fireproof box.She is going to dig it out later and see if the tire is covered in this circumstance. She accused me of Bajaing and I flat out denied it.We were on a legitimate gravel road that is public and has a road name.Just some lame ass hunter that decided to dump his butchered carcase beside the road and a dog or coyote probably drug the leg out into the road. When I ran over it that probably snapped it and jabbed that shorter piece up into my tire. Why do these carcases always get dumped along roadsides? Why not in the trash where everything else goes?I realize it's not trash but their everywhere and stink bad come summer. We have bears now not good to have em out in the road in the dark just hangin out.

I doubt anyone could drive fast enough on this road to actually hit a deer.the holes are so bad you might be abole to do twenty in spots and you have to crawl in others.I had already seen abandoned carcases along side the road further back.Someone no doubt threw a carcase alongside the road and some animal dragged the leg out into the road where I ran over it and snapped it and drove it into my tire.I blew two tires out last year because some moron couldn't keep his old roof parts on his truck on Buckshutem road and I wiped out two tires on the same side when I hit plywood with nails in it.

I have a set of Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor tires. Kevlar belted, they are silent and tough. I have crushed bottles with them. Once I heard a clunk, clunk as I drove down Carranza. It was a 6" long 3/8 bolt in the middle of the tread. It laid over and was prying up the tread. I unscrewed it. That was a couple of years ago and I forgot which tire it was.

not covered on road hazard warranty.they claim no one will cover something ran over in the road.if it's a pothole that is covered because it is a bad road but something laying in the road is never covered.
it is in the tread.my son in law says he may be able to fix it.he is a mechanic and a tire guy, works in a tire place that does mechanical work as well.Haven't taken it to him yet but he looked at it.I'd like to find the hunter who threw his carcase in the road.I know where I could stick that leg bone.

I have made arrowheads out of deer bones:) I just never would of thought that one would have done that to a tire that tough.Side wall yes but I got some bad ass treads and it went right through. That bone sliver was sharper then the arrowhead shown.I"ve also made arrowheads out of beer bottle bottoms, their even sharper yet:)
