A week ago, we attended the grand opening of the Dr. James Still Nature Trail, located at the Dr. James Still Historic Office Site & Education Center! The trail, kiosk, and herb gardens were created as part of a pair of Eagle Projects from two Boy Scouts in Medford and Medford Lakes (article on them here)
We hiked this trail, which has a mix of woodlands and meadow, as well as some really nicely done signs labeling some of the plant life.
Was also able to go inside the education center for the first time. Some nice exhibits on Dr. Still, the Lenape, and on the Underground Railroad.
Walked over to the office as well. The work is progressing ever so slowly on it.
