I was thinking more at the bridge Al, but you could be right.

By the way, if the weather is not ungodly hot, I'm going to go north from the bridge on 563 up the wading on Friday, July 1st if anyone wants to join me. It may be dicey with the beaver dams. I plan to be reasonable as far as distance upstream. Not trying to reach 532 or anything like that.

This is the shot I have from that beaver dam looking upstream Al.

I"ll have to break mine out.Haven't had it out in some time and it's hell to get into and out of anymore.Been wanting to trade it in for a recreational model with a big cockpit.I have to have the perfect landing spot to wiggle in and out of this one.I"ll get a hold of whip.Maybe he'll want to do a canoe trip.I need to get the motor mount off the back of it but if he's game we can take the canoe up.I"ll hurt myself getting out of that kayak.

Don't think Bill can make it.Having shoulder problems and can no longer wield his paddle and I"m too old to handle the thing myself.I am going to sell the kayak I have and get a recreational step in and out of kayak and then I"ll have a go at the crik.Unless of course I decide to jump in and swim walk it first.Did that down the Tulpe from Carranza road to Hawkins Bridge once. That tore me up at 22,wonder what it would do at 52?

Take a look at one of the lightweight solo canoes, also called pack canoes. No double ended paddle sticking out the sides and getting in the way, easy in and out, a lot easier to transport as well and room for stuff. The one I had weighed 15lbs. Sold it to a neighbor for his youngster last year after I wasn't using it much after I got the 15 footer. The 2 seat 15 footer weighs in at 37lbs, the Mad River I got rid of weighed 75.

Bill is a possibility. If He calls back and says yes me and him can go in the canoe. What time would you want to meet on 563 and the river crossing?

Al, sorry, I have not looked at this thread for a day or so. Been busy. I also have a friends 17 foot aluminum Grunman that is a possibility. What say you? If anything it will scare the hell out of the beaver.

Here is my kayak. I have trouble getting in and out of any vessel any more.
