Jessica and I traveled today with Gloria to search out a few stones and see the sights while doing so. First, we visited the location where I was pretty certain we would find a Lady Slipper, and we were not disappointed. Jessica spotted the best immature one along the side of the road.
A closer look.
Then off to stone search. This one was pulled right off the ground and is securely stuck between two tree roots.
A nice size beaver lodge blocked our way.

Not only was the view nice, there were thousands of carpenter frogs banging away on wood. Turn up your volume and give it time to load.
