Fenwick Manor farm preserved

The 90 acre farm in Pemberton Twp. owned by Stephan and Katherine Thompson had development rights purchased by the Burlington County Freeholders for a permanent easement and deed restrictions so the land stays agricultural. The farm is currently used for raising alpacas and growing of grain crops. Katherine Thompson is part of the Darlington family and a descendant of J.J.and Elizabeth White.

Friends of my parents grew up on J.J. White's farm and their parents worked there until they passed away. They sent me to the Thompson's house when it was being built to see if I could do the drywall work. It was too much for me to do on the side by myself. It must have looked nice finished though with all the exposed beams.
