I focused my energies on really trying to get a good representation of autumn this year. I am familiar enough with the forest that I think I'm making some progress at last. I helped a Rutgers environmental grad first day on the job who made the mistake of driving on one of the worst roads in the pine barrens in a Subaru and was swallowed by a hole. Another photographer made the same mistake in a similar car on the same road.
