WASHINGTON TWP., N.J. - January 12, 2012 (WPVI) -- Police say a diesel fuel leak of 26,000 gallons has been confirmed in Gloucester County.

However, police say they are being told by county health officials that there is no danger to public safety due to this leak.
The leak is coming from a New Jersey Transit bus garage in Washington Township. Some fuel has leaked into Big Timber Creek.
A private environmental cleanup company is on the scene working to mitigate the spill, police say.
There was no immediate word on how long the cleanup would take
