I just finished Pierce's Book, "Smugglers Woods", and I have to recommend it. It's the only account that I know of that goes into detail about NJ and it's relationship with the Revolutionary War. I brought this book to the Bahamas with me on a recent business trip. I couldnt put it down. The sun was baking, water was like a swimming pool, yet I continued to read.... and read... and read.

You might as well just get it at the library, because you'll finish it fast.

I'm reading this book right now. I'm about 75 pages into it and I'm really enjoying it. I just started the chapter about Wistarberg. When I bought this book, I expected it to be about some of the ghost towns of South Jersey, like Father Beck's books, but even so, I find it very interesting. I included it in my book list.
