Happy Fathers day to all that fit into this category, especially you Ben on your first one.

Each of us have had different experiences with their father, some good, some bad, but for me it was all good. He along with my mother would accompany me on many occasions to the pines to see some of the sights I had discovered on the previous weekend. Here he is in the summer of 1978.

Ebsi, I saw your post on your dad and found it very interesting. Thanks for sharing that.

You're welcome, Guy --- and to all of the membership who enjoyed my posting. We all NEED to spend more time with our parents, be it in The Pines or on the porch with a KOOL glass of lemonade...

As we grow older, we begin to appreciate just how precious those moments were...

I hope all of you had a great Fathers' Day! There are many senior citizens living alone, in retirement homes and otherwise. Perhaps, you might think of "adopting" one of them, especially if you have lost your parents...
