I had seen a short paragraph on Patapsco valley State park in my backpacker Magazine this month and I decided when I got home I"d check it out on the net.Supposedly a lot of ruins.Thought it might be a nice place to take the grand younguns.While Google earthing the area I found the old abandeoned Henryton Sanitorium.The pics are still there,it shows on the aerials still,the newest ones too but upon further investigation it appears to have been torn down.So sad.It lloked like a place a couple of boys would have loved.Still a lot of ruins up and down the creek but this place was a prize.Looks like maryland state has the same attitudes NJ does.Always worried about being sued.Shame is people will do it.Screw themselves up and sue the owner of the property in this case the state.I know people that have done it,even sued a property owner for crippling themselves on an ATV while tresspassing on private property.When all said and done the guy is still crippled but He bought a house with his lawsuit money.
