I know ebay is pretty responsive in taking things down when speleothems are offered for sale. This just looks like a piece of ironstone that could have come from anywhere.

That's exactly what I was thinking. There have been a number of chunks of rock like that laying around the homes I've owned which were unearthed when they dug the foundations.
