I was just having a discussion this morning with a person who feared going hiking during hunting season. I told her that the statistics don’t indicate that her getting shot is a likely threat and if it really was, more hunters would be getting shot, as opposed to the much more common hunting injury of falling out of one’s stand. Then I come home and read this. While I feel for the injured hunter, a little punctuation to one’s argument is always appreciated.
