last Wednesday on Push Line Road at the gravelly hill. There were 2 car keys, a car fob, 2 safe keys ( the kind you can't copy) and lucky for the owner an LA Fitness card. I called LA Fitness with the members # and gave permission to give my phone #. Within an hour I got a call. He was cruising the pines on his bike that weekend and they fell out of his back pack. He is from the other side of Philadelphia and his wife had to come with another set of keys. We walk our dogs out that way because there are no flies and still some great blueberries. I mailed them on Thursday and he sounded very happy.
It got me thinking, I have no ID on my key ring. I think I am going to get a dog tag with my email on it.

He was a lucky guy.

Good find Ed! I drove Push Line Road on Saturday from Quaker Bridge to Tuckerton and went through the puddle at High Crossing. It actually slowed my car to a craw and for a second I was getting worried. I was out checking the Pickering Morning Glory and it is doing well I have to say.

One might also argue that it would be better not to have anything to identify you on a lost set of keys. I think that's what I prefer, but I don't carry any keys that would be particularly hard to replace. :)

Feller's lucky it was you who found them, Ed, but I would definitely say Boyd is right. I do NOT want any id on my keys (but maybe email is good, assuming your email isn't your real name, in case an honest feller like Ed finds them), and here's another thing: don't mark your home address "home" on your GPS, in case your car is stolen.

Well I think we're required to carry our auto registration at all times, and it probably also has your home address on it....
its a shame but these days, that you have to really have to be careful with everything you do. but i still think for the most part most people are still decent people.
