As much as I like fresh cut Christmas trees, my favorite still is our sixties Evergleam pom-pom aluminum tree. It is an eight footer and has all of it's one hundred and twenty-four "branches". The spinner doesn't work but that is expected for a forty-seven year old tree base. We found it at a yard sale in Andover. I just love it's midcentury modern look. I'm still looking for the right light(s) for it, maybe a projector light that changes colors or LEDs.

I have been cutting the Norway Spruce trees that were planted by the previous owner of my home, since they are not native trees and I want to get rid of them anyway.
