Jerseyman has gone bigtime and looking good along side Steve Steve Buscemi on NBC's "Who Do You Think You Are" tonight as Buscemi searched his roots in Camden. Anyone else catch it?

It was great to see our very own Jerseyman on the show. He looked quite dapper in that outfit and sunglasses. I believe Al and I were out in the pines that day and it was really cold, so I suspect it felt much colder in that open cemetery.

Comcast on demand has the older episodes of this show listed so this one should be on soon. (Looks like 46er found a site where you can watch it now!)

It's all online at the link, this past episode is chapter 5. A good series, but they make it look sooo easy. I've been working on my families genealogy and its a long road, with a lot of bureaucratic road blocks.

Thanks for the link! That was well worth watching. Well done, Jerseyman. And thanks for not going into any more detail on the various ways Ralph may have contracted TB.

Ralph Montgomery's story was truly fascinating. When you look into your own heredity it is always apparent how much is accident. If this person hadn't done that, or gone there, you're not born.

I have to say, unsurprisingly, it's amazing how being famous and having cameras along helps with genealogy research.

Jerseyman, well done.

I noticed your accent more sharply in this video. It brings back memories I have. Tell me if I'm wrong about its origins. When I lived in Presidential Lakes in the 60's, it seems about a quarter of the people living there were from either Philadelphia or far West Jersey...they lived in summer houses at Presidential Lakes....they only came to the lakes for the summer. The kids I knew kind of had the same accent you do. But it seems that it is fading away.

Am I right, or is your accent from a completely different area.
