Good morning all.

I'm trying to get in contact with John Abrams, who I believe lives in Pine Barrens. We used to play online chess together ten years or so ago, but I haven't heard from him in years.

If anyone has an e-mail address or any other contact details for John, I'd appreciate it if you could send them to me at jon.dsouzaeva@roxar.com

Thanks,

Jon

My mother's maiden name was Abrams, so that makes me related to almost everyone in the Indian Mills area (haha). I believe there is more than one John Abrams, I'll ask around.

There were some Abrams in the Atco/Shamong, like Atsion road area that might have been candidates for your Piney website friend. Not sure of the spelling being the same though.

The webpage is funny in that being pines related he shares my signature and much believed quote from John Muir in it's liken to a forest wilderness.

Good luck in finding your friend. Stay on the site for other things you may find of interest!

I think I know who you are looking for. After reading through the website it looks like the John Abrams you are looking for was the one on Jeopardy. If that is correct I do know him because he is a cousin of mine, though distant. I believe his father was John as well, I forget because I have so many relatives in that area. I still have people I don't know come up to me and say they are related! I haven't seen John (if that is the correct person) in a few years. I heard he moved to San Francisco. Don't quote me on that, I'll call home and can probably get you a definite answer within a few days. By the way John was very intelligent and to my knowledge never went to college but managed to stay on Jeopardy for 3 days. It was funny when Alex would name the contestants, he would say, "Joe Schmoe lives in LA went to Harvard, Mary Lou lives in Dallas went to Brown and then we have John, a farmer from Tabernacle." Hopefully this is the person you are looking for I'm pretty sure I can locate him for you. Sorry for the long post. By the way he used to live on Old Indian Mills Road in Tabernacle.
