How has everyone been? Well, I figured I'd post a message as I'm trying to use the last of my computer account money at the University before I leave New Zealand tomorrow morning.
It's been an incredible experience, one that I suggest to anyone looking to enjoy a place with amazing scenery and a lifestyle unbenounced to most of us in the United States. The people have been heartwarming and welcoming, even during this time when our nation is not looked upon so highly throughout the world.
I'm going to spend the last few hours of daylight today sitting on the beach in Sumner, getting a tan (so it looks like I've been to a tropical place 8) ), and then enjoying my last meal with a very nice NZ family.
Although I hate to leave, I know I've left enough out of my travels to ensure a return trip. But I am really looking forward to returning to South Jersey and the Pine Barrens during my favorite time of year: fall/winter. Being away for 4 months has only made my appreciation for our unique area greater than I ever thought possible. I look forward to meeting a lot of you when I get back and getting out to explore many a ghost town and natural areas.
Also, I strongly urge those of you who have some free time and adequate bandwidth, to check out my online photo album at my personal website. About 95% of my 500+ photos from New Zealand were taken with a very good 3.2 megapixel Canon A70 camera, and the resoultion was always at the highest possible setting (2048 x 1536). There are tons of subalbums throughout the main album so make sure to look thoroughly.

It's also quite amusing to check up on my travel diary updates on my main page. In the future, I will expand the Indian Mills gallery and add a Pine Barrens one too as I plan to be out in the Pines almost every weekend when I get back.
Well, enough rambling, it's off to the beach. The weather isn't too warm today, about 18 C (around 65 F) but the rain has cleared and the sun has returned in Christchurch.
Peace,
Justin B.
