If you use Mapsource, then you might find these interesting: http://www.javawa.nl/weblinks.html#en

Download the weblink file that you want and save it somewhere on your computer. Now start Mapsource and go to Edit > Preferences > Weblinks > Add Weblink. Now find the file that you saved and select it.

On any map you may now use the selection tool, right-click anything, choose the feature you want, then choose the weblink that you installed. For example, if you install "show Birds Eye on Bing Maps", that option will appear when you right-click a point on the map. When you choose it, your web browser will open, zoom in and show a birds eye view of the location you chose in Mapsource.

If you want to get more advanced, the same site has an online tool to build your own weblinks: http://www.javawa.nl/weblinkcreator_en.html

No need to read that page, the only important part is the list of links which are in English. Click on any of them to download the file, then follow my instructions to install in Mapsource. Or not...
