Hello! I'm in the process of purchasing a house that was built in 1916 in New Lisbon...its on four mile road across the street from Byrne State Forest. I've been researching the area to find any history about new lisbon and trying to see if somehow I can get information on maybe someone who lived in this house or property information? The exact address is 104 four mile road. Any one have any information, this stuff is so fascinating to me!

It appears the present owners are Randolph and Margaret Thacher. So if you go to the clerks office in Mt. Holly and do a search for their name in the grantor and grantee section you will see who they purchased it from. The info itself will tell you that and then who they purchased it from and so on. Eventually, by following the records you will know every owner of the home and when they purchased it.

Welcome Gtholen, The info you are requesting is as close as the Browns Mills Library. You can purchase a book titled A Reeves' Account of New Lisbon there. In the book you will find the history of many homes in New Lisbon including 104 Four Mile Rd.
The last time I was in the library I didn't see it for sale anymore. I'll check again and if they have it I'll grab one for you.
