Lots o' guinea hens

On the side of 70 today, just after the turn for Mt. Misery, I saw roughly 10 guinea hens all together. Never seen that many together. On occasion I see 1 or 2. Didn't know they could be that social.
 
They love eating ticks, so I hope to see even more of them :mrgreen:

Believe me on this, you can see a couple of dozen of the lousy bastards together easy. I've been there. They are indeed a mixed blessing as I have mentioned in other threads. Good for ticks, bad for sleep, clean yard, and simple sense of sanity!
They are highly!! social & and glad to invite friends once they have found a place they favor. I've had to "thin out" my share over the years.

I'm glad to see they actually are useful. I grew up in the country and the nearest farmer had a bunch of them and their favorite spot to hang out was in the middle of the road.
