bachman... the undertail coverts heavily streaked are diagnostic for a gos.
these are white.
a clear eyebrow stripe (when present) is also fairly diagnostic for the gos.
here there is no distinctive stripe.
BTW the buteo with the red tail is a redtail.
the swainsons left cape may just before the ivory gull took off
