I know right where that bottom shot is.Over a side ditch flowing into Muskee Creek just upstream and within sight of 47.I punked about a year ago when i wanted to walk across that to look for a stone up the tracks further.I eneded up going to Weatherby road and walking south down the tracks instead.
I didn't realize that was that small trestle just north of 47. We used to run a charter boat out of Port Norris in the late '80's. I haven't been I. That area much since then. It's amazing how much its deteriorated

It's right here.I used to walk it all the time.last year I pulled up and thought I was going to do it again and I was greeted with the sight above.When I was younger I had the balance to do it.Not anymore.

MM, you must have had great balance. Even as a kid I would not have tried that, but now with a backpack and tripod I'd end up in the drink or worse. I want to get back down there and explore more. Here are a couple more shots of the same track, farther down the line.
I remember thirty years ago crabbing off that trestle and having to get off of it while the train passed
Matter of fact looking to the left from the trestle in the photo an old girl friend of mines house is almost visible (Her old house) through the weeds.Would of been the first house in Bricksboro heading north on 47
