I was sorry to hear that Joe Flaherty died on Monday. Although he had a long career, I will always remember him for his early work on SCTV. Among his memorable characters were news anchor Floyd Robertson aka cheesy horror movie host Count Floyd, Big Jim McBob, co-host of the explosive "Farm Film Celebrity Blow-Up," SCTV "station president" Guy Caballero, private eye Vic Arpeggio, and the sinister but clueless ex-con Rocco.
