I assume you would go to the ranger station. Someone posted and said I believe you must tell them when and where you will be doing this. I assume that would allow them to check on you to see if you are following the rules whatever they are. I have seen rangers heading over to people who were using them and they did not seem happy. So I would make sure you did not get caught not following the rules. They give tickets out for parking in a driveway in Bulltown where there was a sign telling you not to, so I can see them doing that for digging where you should not be. I did it years ago so I know what your passion is, but please be careful.
