Bob, gipsie gave me the coordinates of the encounters and Jess and I went there and did not see the memorial. Yesterday, I saw a video on Facebook showing people there and one was present and looked old. I believe the mom gave gipsie the cords so maybe she was not correct. I really don’t know.

I have to go back and confirm where the memorial exactly is.

Danielle Evelyn Lopez, age 37, disappeared on April 13, 2024 along Lost Lane Road, an unpaved forest road in Penn State Forest in Woodland Township, Burlington County, New Jersey.
In the week before she vanished, Danielle was living at Campsite 77 in Brendan T. Byrne State Forest with her boyfriend, James “Scott” Dunn. They moved there on April 7, 2024 after being told to leave his parents’ home in Willingboro following a domestic incident that required a police response. They were essentially displaced into the woods.
On the morning of April 13, 2024, Danielle was captured on surveillance footage at a Wawa in Vincentown.
Later that afternoon, a passing motorist’s dash-mounted GoPro camera recorded her on Lost Lane Road. Her blue 2013 Hyundai Accent was stuck in a flooded section of the sand road. The driver stopped. Danielle asked for directions to Lake Oswego.
At approximately 5:50 PM, a second GoPro recording shows Danielle walking alone along the same stretch of Lost Lane Road. This is the last independently verified sighting of her.
Later that evening, another individual came upon the same disabled Hyundai. He turned on the hazard lights. Danielle was not there. The hazard lights continued to flash until the battery eventually died.
That same night, Scott showed up at the home of a woman who knew both him and Danielle. He arrived alone, wearing muddy boots, and asked for help with Danielle. This witness has requested anonymity due to concerns for her safety. Her account confirms Scott needed assistance involving Danielle on the very night she vanished, long before he ever acknowledged her missing publicly.
Despite this, Danielle’s vehicle was not recovered by law enforcement until May 1, 2024, about eighteen days later. In earlier GoPro footage, a large black trash bag filled with belongings is clearly visible in front of the vehicle. When police finally recovered the car, that trash bag was no longer present. It has never been located or accounted for.
From April 14 through April 21, 2024, there were no calls from Danielle to her mother, no bank activity, and no confirmed communication from her to anyone.
During that time, her boyfriend, James “Scott” Dunn, did not notify law enforcement and did not notify her family that she was missing.
The first time he acknowledged Danielle’s disappearance was in a text message exchange with her mother on April 22 and 23. In those messages, he claimed Danielle had “left the campground,” said he did not know where she went, and redirected attention to a man he called Craig, described as a homeless camper who had been staying near them. He also referenced the State Park Police being present at the campground prior to her disappearance.
At no point in those first eleven days did he file a missing person report for her.
On April 24, 2024, Danielle’s mother formally reported her missing to the New Jersey State Police.
That same day, James “Scott” Dunn arrived at the New Jersey State Police barracks. While he was there, troopers discovered a motorcycle hidden in the woods near the barracks with an altered or fictitious vehicle identification number. He was arrested on that offense and remains incarcerated on unrelated criminal charges.
This is not a simple missing-adult case. It sits on top of a long, documented pattern of domestic violence.
Between 2019 and early 2024, Danielle repeatedly told her mother, police, and others that Scott had punched her, injured her, and scared her. Police responded to incidents in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She required stitches for facial injuries. There were multiple 911 calls. Family members observed bruising. In February and March of 2024, while staying at his parents’ home in Willingboro, two separate incidents led to police responses and ended with both Danielle and Scott being told to leave. Weeks later, she was gone.
Danielle did not leave with her car. She did not take her belongings. She did not empty accounts, plan a new identity, or say goodbye. She was last seen on foot, on a remote road, after asking for directions, with her car stuck and her life in chaos.
Her boyfriend, who has a long criminal history including aggravated assault, escape, burglary, drug distribution, and theft, never reported her missing and only began expressing concern when her mother started asking questions.
What we know for certain:
Danielle was alive and walking along Lost Lane Road on the evening of April 13, 2024.
Her vehicle remained where she left it until it was found by police on May 1, 2024.
Her belongings were left behind and some items disappeared before law enforcement secured the scene.
She has had no contact with her family since that date.
She was a documented victim of long-term domestic violence.
The last known person connected to her did not act as a worried partner should.
What we do not know is what happened to her between the final GoPro sighting and the moment her car was first found without her.
I am posting this for anyone who was in or around Penn State Forest or Brendan T. Byrne State Forest between April 7 and April 14, 2024, especially near Lost Lane Road and the Lake Oswego area. If you were driving with a dashcam, using a GoPro, hiking with a trail camera, or camping in that period and remember seeing Danielle, her blue Hyundai Accent, or anything unusual, your information may matter.

Danielle did not simply walk away from her life. She vanished while trying to get back to safety. Somebody knows what happened.

Sounds like the abusive boyfriend is the prime suspect. I know there can be a lot of mitigating factors that make it difficult for a woman to leave an abusive relationship, but it’s always the best option.

Too bad a detective was not present at this juncture. One rarely walks out of the pines with mud on their boots. Dried clay? Maybe. Organic muck? Yes, but it usually dries quickly and falls off.

What, exactly, did the woman say that Scott said regarding his needing help? Did he say: "Danielle is trapped in the woods"? Did he say "Danielle is missing"? Did he say "Danielle is lying down hurt"?

I'm just highlighting vast holes in the sequence of events. Is it difficult to have the police release every turn and every conversation in this affair?
 
I suspect they have their suspect and are just waiting for him to talk or slip up. But they could give out info to the public on possible locations she may be at, if they have any.

Later that afternoon, around 4 pm, a couple driving with a dash-mounted GoPro camera recorded her on Lost Lane Road, but her car was not stuck at that time. Danielle flagged them down and asked for directions to Lake Oswego. Danielle then drove off in her blue 2013 Hyundai Accent.

At approximately 5:50 pm, a second GoPro recording in a vehicle (the same couple she encountered around 4 PM) shows Danielle walking alone along the same stretch of Lost Lane Road. Danielle told them her car was stuck in a puddle, and she had been walking for about 20 minutes. She asked them for assistance, but they offered none and drove away.

Around 6:20 pm, a tow driver sees her car stuck in a puddle. Her keys were still in the ignition, but Danielle was not with the vehicle. He posted a photo and details in the Facebook group “New Jersey stuck in the mud and snow and need a pull out.”

8:30 pm. Her car is pulled out of the mud by the same tow driver. He left the hazards on so the owner could find it, and posted the location on the same Facebook Group.

April 22 and 23: (the following is not in her mother Sue's timeline) Scott texted Danielles mother and claimed Danielle had “left the campground,” and said he did not know where she went, and redirected attention to a man he called Craig, described as a homeless camper who had been staying near them. He also referenced the State Park Police being present at the campground prior to her disappearance.

April 24, 2024: Danielle’s mother formally reported her missing to the New Jersey State Police. That same day, James “Scott” Dunn arrived at the New Jersey State Police barracks. While he was there, troopers discovered a motorcycle hidden in the woods near the barracks with an altered or fictitious vehicle identification number. May 1, 2024: Law enforcement and the Forest Fire Service drained a water hole near Lost Lane Road as part of a search related to a missing person whose car was found nearby. That missing person was Danielle. No large trash bag was found. It was never located or accounted for.

• On May 1, a water hole near Lost Lane Road was drained by Forest Fire Service and law enforcement as part of a search related to a missing person whose car was found nearby. That missing person was Danielle.
I am not claiming these fires are definitively connected to her disappearance. I am saying they happened in the same general corridor, within days of each other, shortly after she was last seen, and they were significant enough for law enforcement to drain water looking for evidence.
** Why I am sharing this **
I am sharing this timeline so that:
• The public knows Danielle’s last confirmed movements on April 13, 2024.
• People understand that she did not just “take off” and disappear by choice, with no history of keeping in touch.
• The contradictions in key statements are visible and cannot be ignored.
• Anyone who was in Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, Penn State Forest, or the surrounding areas between April 7 and April 24, 2024, can think back to what they saw or heard.
If you:
• Were at Wawa in Vincentown on the morning of April 13,
• Drove or hiked in Penn State Forest that afternoon or evening, especially near Lost Lane Road or Lake Oswego,
• Fought or saw wildfires in that region in late April 2024,
• Or have information about the people named here,

There are so many things that seem odd. That being one of them. It is a very sad tragic story...people had the chance to have changed this for Danielle and no one saw something and said something.
