MMMMMMMM Tasty looking tidbit! Excellent Shot !I'm getting closer and closer to buying my set up ,Most likely in the spring
Yeah I have the 40d with the 100mm macro lense....I need to add a better lense for things further away though......I primarily use mine for reptiles though so it works.
That picture Hawkin', is a keeper.
Like putting two negatives to make a positive.
Only a beast like that could savor such a morsel.

I missed a killer photo this weekend for lack of camera on me.
We had a deer on my road getting picked over by 8 or 10 of these guys and
they happened to be fanning their wings all around it at the same time in the sun. It was pretty damned freeky looking in a ritualistic fashion so I raced home but they had changed positions when I came back.

Nice pics, i just got a Nikon d40. I like the camera as i have owned a few Nikon cameras over the years, my f2 you could use to hammer a nail into a wall and still take pictures with, my 8008 was also an amazing camera. The d40 is nice but it doesn't feel as solid as my old Nikon.
