The National Weather Service (NWS) Forecast Office in Mount Holly / Westampton New Jersey will be holding its annual Open House on Saturday, September 22, 2012. Our office serves 34 counties in four states, covering eastern Pennsylvania, northeast Maryland, Delaware, and most of New Jersey, including the entire Philadelphia metropolitan area.
This year’s Open House will run from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM, is free and open to the public. Station tours will be conducted every 30 minutes beginning at 11:00 AM in groups of approximately 20 people each. Each tour will consist of a brief presentation about the NWS, a walk-through of our forecast operations area, and a question and answer session. Participants will be required to sign in and provide identification upon request.
