For anyone intersested in learning more about the wealth of New Jersey's outdoor activity opportunities, including the hunting and shooting sports, fishing, trapping, birding, orienteering, kayaking and rock climbing, there will be an Outdoor Expo at Colliers Mill WMA on September 17 and 18.

It looks like a good way to learn about things you may have wanted to try but did not have a mentor or friend to offer the exposure.

There are some great organizations involved from what is listed. The expo should be very good. I was hoping to see The Lokata Wolf Preserve or The Raptor Trust on there as well. None the less it looks to be a fun time.

The Lakota Preserve is way cool. When the wolves start howling together that is something to hear. I got goosebumps just thinking about it.:) The Preserve usually has a few of there wolves at the Hunterdon County 4H Fair. I gave a small donation and I got to sit with one wolf for a few minutes last summer. It was awesome. I'm suprised that they aren't in the Expo.
