NJCF Acquires 811 Acre Preserve on Mt. Misery Brook

It is a wonderful place. Clean and quiet. I explored the woods there quite a bit looking for an Asa Pittman property stone back in 2014. It is a place that books are written about. 
I am serious when I say it MAY be very unfortunate that this purchase occured. I am concerned that the NJCF will not leave the place alone.

The release says it is surrounded by the State Forest, so is it a totally surrounded inholding? In which case it wouldn't be very attractive to developers. But putting it beyond their filthy fingers is not a bad idea.
It is not totally surrounded by state land but almost. There are at least three non state property owners on the edges of the property.
There are a couple unique places there. I am sure the NJCF does not know that one of them is called Grassy Pond. I have some unique documentation that nobody else has which shows the name of the pond. I originally felt it said Gassy Pond but I believe the writing says Grassy. Now it is somewhat overtaken by leatherleaf.

I would much rather this parcel be incorporated into the state forest, especially given a significant amount of the purchase price was made with public money, especially given how outspoken the NJCF was in support of the misguided MAP.
