I thought we would see these much earlier, but better late than never! Have only taken a very quick look, but they look more sharp than the 2015 aerials. However, the natural color version has a rather ugly a greenish cast that reduces the contrast. It's really a shame that we can't get the same quality as 2007, which IMO was the best.

Natural color (leaf-off) imagery is here:

And the infrared version is here:

Note: these are only available on the mobile site and will not be added to online.boydsmaps.com. That site is EOL and will be replaced later this summer by a single, universal web app that works on computers as well as phones. I'd hoped to have it ready by now but I'm hosting a big family event soon (for the first time in two years), and prep is taking all my time. But look for the new site later in August, it's a huge upgrade that allows you to create/import/export/edit waypoints that are linked to a spreadsheet. Data can be exchanged in Garmin-compatible GPX files or tab-delimited TXT files that work in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet/database software. Here's a teaser of what that will look like (using a database of Woodland Twp structures).

People in work always ask me why I use 2007 infrareds in nearly everything I do. "Because they are the best !" is the short answer.
These 2020's don't look too awful bad though. Can't wait until they make it onto the Geoweb.

Hard to beat the 2007. For the best updates (limited) there is a program called nearmap that sells access. https://www.nearmap.com/us/en. I'm doing a floristic survey of the Lakehurst Navy base over the next year with Mark Szutarski, and a friend from work showed me some of the aerials of the base from March of this year.

I spent a good five minutes on that site and couldn't find any clue as to how much their services cost, apparently it's based on data usage. Meanwhile, like a sucker, I give my maps away for free. ;)
