I am not a beer drinker so I rely on water and juice as my beverage of choice. If you are like me and buy Ocean Spray you may have noticed they promote their cranberry growers on the juice containers. Today, for the first time I noticed NJ.

I drink Ocean Spray cranberry juice cocktail every day, just checked the back of the bottle, it’s there. I am not sure Tassone still grows berries in Shamong. He past away a couple week ago, but someone else this been working the field.

They own it for sure. I talked to the managed this morning. He said they got 8.5" of rain on East Stokes Rd. but he doesn't think they lost very many berries over the dam.

Before Jeff, Norman Lemunyon owned most of East stokes road. Norman developed a berry called the “Lemunyon Berry” that is still used to day in research. It was used in the development of the “Mullica Queen”. I think it is a cross between the Lemunyon berry and the Stevens. Jeff has some Mullica Queen and he had one bog left of the old Lemunyon Berry, if he has not replanted it. Norman told me years ago he got his wild vines down around the great swamp, but would not show me exactly where.
