Ron and I got into a nice seep where there were quite a few rare plants. It was dangerous though, the sphagnum mats were treacherous. Very deep.

Another rough day with Bob, but a very enjoyable one. Being in this type of habitat, I stayed mostly on the edges, watching my footings at all time.

Bob had mentioned rare plants were present, but he was seeing last year's growth. So, I guess another trip to the seep is in the cards. Probably in early July. I'm looking forward to it.

Extremely difficult habitat. Just moving 10 yards in any direction was difficult and needed to be planned carefully. It had spring holes similar to some of the ones at Mount Misery.
