Parks instead of "Pork"???

What is it about this country, where we have to change a constitution to force us to do the right thing. How about we just figure on upkeeping our parks each year in the budget and stop this nonsense. I feel the same about the stupid homestead rebate program. I wonder how many beauracrats keep that running. Just figure a way to run all governments; county, state, and local, in an efficient way so property taxes go down uniformly instead of a bloated program to "refund" what we pay. How backwards is that. If we described that program to an alien from outerspace they'd cock their heads at us like a dog and say..."you earthlings are weird, what is wrong with your thinking process"?

They're not going to change that. They get to use our money intrest free. Now if they changed the law so that they had to pay intrest they would end it in a heart beat.

The cynic in me says that if this passes then they will cut some existing funding to the parks and the net result will be no change or even a reduction in funding....
