There is a woman I know who grew up in the West Creek area and for years has been passing me tidbits of information on Sim Place and other cranberry bog information that she knew about. She has been quite helpful over the years. Anyway, yesterday she sent me this page from a shore newspaper that she contributed to. The first commentary titled "A letter to the Banner" was writtien by her friend Ruth Letts Sprague who recently passed away. The second one titled "Another letter to the Banner" was written by the woman I know under the pen name of Clamentine.
This paper was not profitable and was shut down. I am pretty sure this can legally be posted.
