Due to the presence of a suspected blue-green algae bloom (Cyanobacteria) which can be harmful to people and pets at Pemberton Lake (Burlington Co.), all contact with the lake's water should be avoided. Fish caught in the lake should not be consumed. This advisory also applies to Amwell Lake (Hunterdon Co.). Updates will be posted on the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife's Facebook page, website and send via follow-up messages.

There was an issue and DEP warning for private lagoons in the Beach Haven West area of Stafford Twnshp. Botulism in the water; dead wildlife and fish in the lagoons.
