All,

I have been exploring in Penn State Forest the last two weekends and here are a few visits and or finds.

This is a seep. The water here comes out of the ground and slowly runs to the left and enters a spong a few hundred few away. it is so slow you can't even see the water filling it but at the left of the photo the water starts to pick up speed as it flows down to the spung. There is evidence the nearby spung and the area around it were used in blueberry production most likely many many years ago.

We were close to the Landing Gear so we stopped in for the first time since I believe 2001 according to my records. Someone has removed it from the location it has been in since the plane crashed. I recently overheard a man say he had been there that day so maybe he was involved in removing it.

It was 40 years ago in January 1976 that I first visited there.
