Can I hear a few recommendations for a decent hosting site ? Free is always good but paying may be an option.

I have used Photobucket for almost ten years but it seems like it has totally fallen apart in the last year or so. It is beyond slow now, bogged down with ads and its operability is hit or miss as far as loading, linking or editing. It almost seems as if it's intentional to entice you to go to their pay level.

I set up a Flickr account but that doesn't seem as functional as Photobucket used to be.

I have been using PBase for years. Privately owned, excellent support. Not very fancy but it does what I want. I also have a no charge Flickr account but it has changed over the years, some feel for the worse, and I rarely use it, but it does work and has been around for some time. PBase has a 30 day trial period; cost for me is $23 yearly for 1000 MB of photo storage. Not many good free sites available anymore. Nikon also offers a free site with 2 levels, but I've never tried it; it offers more space for Nikon account holders, but both are free. There is also SmugMug, which is pretty nice, but not free. My son uses SmugMug.
