I have went every night this week so far. I will go tomarrow and Friday also. I am making the most of it since I most likely will not attend next year due to moving to Riverside. There has been less people this year then last. Tonight kids on the ferris wheel were throwing cans and the plastic lights from the ride, down on people sitting at the tables. The cops were told and they were looking around, but of course the kids got away. The crowd was bigger Monday and Tuesday night which I thougt was strange, maybe it was the heat. I was sorry to see that there were no books on display of the pinebarrens. Last year there was a pretty good display to be shared by all, this years just pamplets.

I went opening night, because of WXTU being there. It was the 1st one that I had attended. I was expecting something different, as opposed to the carnival type event that it turned out to be. My wife and I got there early, around 7 pm. We ate a bit, listened to the band Wanted and left. The band was pretty darn good. Of course, as the night proceeded, it became overrun with obnoxious teenagers, whos' only mission seemed to be blocking the access roads, by forming groups to shoot-the-sh** forcing everyone to walk around them. In addition, they were just flat out rude. I was a teenager once myself, but I never behaved as they did in public.

Oh my God........... I sound like my parents and grandparents did 25-years ago.

I used to feel the same way until I went to college. I was so impressed with the young adult attending. They were very polite and considerate to an older person such as myself. They respected me and openly accepted my input. It seems to be the high school kids I see the problem with. I have alot of them who come to my home visiting my oldest son. I guess they just haven't grown up emotionally.
