Ro & I were given copies of Vol 1 No. 1, Sep 3, 2016, and No. 2. Sep 10, 2016, of this free newspaper by the lady at Hot Diggety Dog in Chatsworth. Masthead says its for Bass River, Medford, Medford Lakes, Pemberton, Pemberton Borough, Shamong, Southampton, Tabernacle, Washington Woodland.

You can have a hundred hens in your yard if you like, but do you see that large one in the center of the flock? They call him a rooster. I can do without him. I can no longer sleep with the window open in Bamber, as the one two doors down starts his obnoxious crowing at 3:30 AM. No roosters.
No roosters, no eggs. Get a pair of ear plugs.

We have a rooster here in Laurel lake that also starts obnoxiously early but he's a half mile down the road and I can't hear him till I actually go outside.far enough away not to bother me but I wonder how the next door neighbors put up with it.
So tell me oh wise one, and let us go back to square one; does there need to be a rooster among the hens in order for them to produce eggs?

This is a odd statement 46'r. It doesn't make sense.
