All,
It was a little chilly at Parkdale today, but not cold enough to keep us from looking around. The briers were tough on us, and my pants, but we were semi productive. Jessica's pants were ripped on the bottom,a stick got caught in them, and she took a face first dive to the ground. Fortunately, her bony knee hit first saving her face, so she will suffer for a few days with that.
Our first stop produced this stone that was in a clearing. I am surprised it is still there. This stone was once owned by Wharton, J.P. Rider, Franklin Earl Haines and Charles B. Haines, along with Edith L. Haines, and various other owners.
This next one took us deeper in the woods and we had to dig for it.
On our return I found this. There was no corn on the ground or in the dispenser until I touched it and the corn released and made a noise like a snake hissing at me scaring me to death. There was quite a bit still inside it, but I think it needs a little redesigning to guarantee release of the corn.
