All of the more than 6,000 Atlantic and Cape May county residents that lost power Wednesday night due to a “tripped transformer” have had their electricity restored.
As of 6 a.m., Atlantic City Electric’s Website shows no power outages in its service area. Wednesday night, more than 6,000 customers had no service due to what a spokesman described as a tripped up transformer.
The outages at one point extended to parts of Hamilton Township, Egg Harbor City, Hammonton, Galloway and Mullica.
