never caught a hellbender but caught a spotted once when i was about 6.it was nine inches long and black and yellow and shiny.scared my dad to death he didn't know what i reached in that hole for and he sure didn't know what i was pulling out.neither did I but life is full of missed chances and that wasn;t going to be one.
