I don't know, that article sounds a bit alarmist to me. I was out hiking yesterday and my GPS worked fine. Will see how it does today.

Too bad it will be cloudy tonight. See my post in the Nature section regarding the Aurora. It is not often we get such a good chance of a view of it.
