I was driving down 532 heading from tabernacle to chatsworth today and noticed signs along the north side of the road that say SEMI WILD.they were posted right under posted signs.I was wore out from swamping and didn't have it in me to get out and walk back into the woods to read them.Does anyone know what they are? I assume the are is still private by the signs over the semi wild signs,at one point i noticed a well travelled sand road with an open gate.
what is the semi wild all about? does anyone know?

And their season has been extended. Probably all the snow was bad for business.

"The NJ DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife has announced that on February 23, 2010, the New Jersey Fish and Game Council recommended and the Director approved a 19-day extension to the 2009-2010 Semi-Wild hunting season. This action provides for a revised season closing date of April 3, 2010."
