Hi, this is my first post here. Feel free to remove if this is not related enough to the Pine Barrens, as it's a little North of the Pine Barrens, but I was looking for resources/information on some local history and geography, this area of Medford/Evesham:

I've hiked in some of the woods near that river I highlighted, called Sharp's Run ever since I was little, and I was just curious about the history and geography of the area or if anything interesting was written about the Sharps Run stream/surrounding land in the past. I know much of it was farmland from the 1930s aerials, but I'm also wondering if there's anything from before that. Any historic pictures of that area or other resources would be really cool as well.

Thanks!

Welcome to the site! Certainly nothing wrong with your post. I used to live right there in the 1990's but never really explored that area on foot. Have you seen my maps?

Thank you! I had not seen those maps before, that sort of thing is exactly what I was looking for. On the second map, Cook's map of the Pines, do you know what this symbol means?
