Personally I think solar panel farms are a blight on the land,

but this quote certainly rings true as the MAP issue shows.

I would prefer to see installations like these on remediated superfund sites, landfills, on top of buildings etc. On the positive side my understanding is that 99% of the parks electricity needs will be powered by the new solar installation. Removing coal generated electricity and replacing with Solar is a good thing. The land will be assessed at a higher tax rating placing some much needed tax dollars into the local government. The hyperbole that some of the environmental groups have used to fight this project is absurd.
