Slope Map Black

Boyd, the slope map is too dark to see the slopes. Please check at your leisure. I want to know if it's me.

This is the slope map, is that looking too dark for you? To me, it sounds like you're talking about the slope degrees map... is that what you meant? If so, then yes, I think it's too dark. Has always been like that, to the point that I questioned whether it had any real use and thought about removing it. However, it might have some value when you look at mountainous regions like this, which is why I haven't deleted it.

My general feeling is to just leave it. Remember, boydsmaps is not only for the Pines, we have users from all over the place. Anyway, too dark, too light... that's the way the map looks. It's hosted on the USGS servers and I have no control over what they do.

Yes, I was looking at the slope degrees. Sorry, I rarely use that one and just chose it by mistake. Thanks.

Yes, slope degrees is useful for mountainous terrain. But you have to look at the screen at just the right angle to get the most of it.
